On June 1, 2021, my friend Terri Jackson-Frost took to social media to share her
journey after being diagnosed with Hidradenitis Suppurative on February 25, 2021

What is Hidradenitis Suppurative: An auto-inflammatory disease of the skin
What causes Hidradenitis Suppurative: The cause is unknown
What are symptoms of Hidradenitis Suppurativa: There are numerous symptoms of HS which include: Chronic pain, itchiness, and scarring to name a few
Who is at risk for Hidradenitis Suppurativa: HS is more common in women than men. If someone in your family has HS, you may be at risk
Is there a cure for Hidradenitis Suppurativa: There is NO cure for HS, but treatment options are available
Ways to be supportive of Terri Jackson-Frost
· Do the research and educate yourselves
· Wear purple to support
· Be a listening ear, shoulder to cry on and encouraging
